Kaxiu Terms of Service

Welcome to Kaxiu. Kaxiu is a virtual card collecting, gacha-draw entertainment, creator card-pack publishing, community showcase, and in-app marketplace/auction product, operated by Yu Zhao, an individual developer ("we", "us"). These Terms set the basic rules for using Kaxiu. By using Kaxiu you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.

Note: These Terms govern the international ("Global") edition of Kaxiu.

1. Accounts and Sign-In

• You may register/sign in using the methods the platform supports, such as Sign in with Apple.
• You must provide information that is true, accurate, and lawful.
• You may not transfer, rent, lend, sell, or use your account for unlawful activity.
• If you notice your account is compromised or behaving abnormally, contact support promptly.

2. Cards and Draw Rules

• Kaxiu provides virtual card draws, collection, and showcase features.
• Each pack's detail page discloses rarity odds and related rules.
• 10-pulls have no pity; a 10-pull is equivalent to 10 independent draws.
• Duplicate cards only add to your owned count; there is no shard exchange.
• Cards, packs, odds versions, and creator content are subject to platform review before going live.

3. Coins and Apple In-App Purchase

• Coin top-ups on iOS are completed only through Apple In-App Purchase.
• Coins are used for pack draws, in-app feature consumption, marketplace purchases, auction bids, and related services.
• Coins are not cash. They cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for cash, or used as a promise of returns or investment.
• After purchase, the server credits coins based on the Apple transaction id and product configuration.
• If a top-up is not credited, is double-charged, or fails to restore, submit a support ticket for reconciliation.

4. Marketplace and Auctions

• The marketplace and auctions use platform coins only, as a virtual-asset transfer credit.
• When you list a fixed-price sale or auction, you must ensure the card is tradable and not tied up in another listing or auction.
• Auction bids may create coin holds, releases, and settlement records.
• The platform may suspend, cancel, or adjust transactions for risk control, violations, disputes, or system anomalies.
• The marketplace and auctions do not constitute cash transactions, securities trading, investment services, or a promise of returns.

5. Creator Content

• Creators may create series, cards, packs, and odds configurations, and upload card artwork and other assets.
• Creator content must be lawful and original, or you must have obtained the necessary rights.
• Licence you grant us. For content you upload or publish (including AI-assisted art and text), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, moderate, and adapt that content as needed to operate, promote, and secure the service. You keep your rights in your content. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained for legal, audit, or backup purposes, already shared with other users, or where deletion is technically impractical.
• Reporting infringement. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us at the email in Section 12 with the details required for a takedown notice; we will review and remove or restrict infringing content.
• You may not upload infringing, unlawful, pornographic, violent, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate content.
• The platform may review, reject, remove, or restrict violating content.
• AI-assisted descriptions or artwork drafts still require creator confirmation and remain subject to platform review.

6. Community, Reporting, and Support

• You may post showcase content, comment, like, and report violations.
• You may not post unlawful, infringing, harassing, advertising, fraudulent, spam, or order-disrupting content.
• The platform may remove content, restrict features, freeze accounts, or take other necessary measures against violations.
• You can raise top-up, draw, trade, auction, account, and content issues via a support ticket.

7. Physical Card Interest

• Physical-card interest is used to gauge demand for physical production.
• Expressing interest does not constitute a purchase, pre-sale, shipping, or production commitment.
• If physical pre-sale, production, or delivery opens later, the platform will provide separate, clear pricing, rules, support, and shipping terms.

8. Eligibility and Spending Protection

• Kaxiu is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). Minors must have the consent of a parent or guardian and comply with applicable law.
• The platform provides odds disclosure, per-draw spending limits, and spending reminders.
• The platform may limit top-ups, draws, trades, auctions, or creator features for risk control, regulatory, or user-protection reasons.

9. Account Deletion

• You can request account deletion from the account page.
• Deletion may be temporarily blocked if there are unfinished top-ups, draws, listings, fixed-price trades, auctions, disputes, support tickets, or review tasks.
• Once blocking items are resolved, the platform deletes or anonymizes personal information as required by law and audit, and retains only necessary order, payment, audit, and compliance records.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Kaxiu strives to keep the service stable but does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
• For issues caused by networks, devices, third-party services (such as Apple), force majeure, or user causes, the platform will assist within a reasonable scope.
• You are responsible for losses caused by your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our aggregate liability is limited as permitted by law.

11. Updates

The platform may update these Terms based on product changes, operating rules, legal requirements, or review requirements. Material changes will be announced via in-app prompt, message, or our website.
